What we collect
Your contact details (name, email, phone), the information needed to form your company (company name, addresses, registered agent, owners and managers), your order and payment status, and basic technical data such as IP address and browser, used for security.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To check your company name, prepare and file your documents, apply for an EIN if you order one, send you updates and documents, provide support and meet legal obligations.
Public records
Formation documents filed with a state are public records. Information such as the company name, addresses, registered agent and, in some states, owners or managers will be visible to the public.
Who we share it with
State filing offices; the IRS if you order an EIN; and service providers that help us run the service (payments, hosting, email and name-availability checking, which may use AI services). We do not sell your personal information.
Sensitive numbers
We do not ask for Social Security or ITIN numbers on this website. If one is needed for an EIN application, we collect it through a secure channel and do not store it after the application.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and tax obligations, generally up to seven years.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep. Write to support@landmarkfilings.com.
Security
We use encryption in transit and limit access to the people who need it to process your order.
